Air-Fried Cod with Lemon Butter Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 (5 oz. or 150 g) cod fillets

  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon (2 g) ground paprika

  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil

  • salt and freshly ground pepper

  • For the Sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons (60 g) butter, unsalted

  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) lemon juice

  • 2 tablespoons (7 g) fresh dill weed, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon (7 g) cornstarch + 3/4 cup (185 ml) chicken broth

Method

  • 1. Season cod fillet with salt and pepper, then add the lemon juice and paprika. Rub the fish to coat all sides.
  • 2. Place the fish fillet into the Air Fryer basket. Spray with oil.
  • 3. Set the temperature to 400 F (200 C) and cook in the Air Fryer for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 4. Transfer the fish fillets into a serving dish.
  • 5. To prepare the sauce: Melt butter in a pan with lemon juice and dill.
  • 6. Whisk together cornstarch and chicken broth in a small bowl. Then, pour it into the pan. Cook, stirring until thickened, about 3-4 minutes.
  • 7. Serve the fish drizzled with sauce.
