Air Fried Chicken Tenders with Honey Mustard Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. (450 g) chicken tenders

  • For the Breading:

  • 3/4 cup (90 g) all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) Kosher salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) black pepper

  • 2 (60 g) whole eggs, beaten

  • 3/4 cup (75 g) breadcrumbs

  • olive oil spray

  • For the Honey Mustard Dip:

  • 1/2 cup (125 g) low-fat mayonnaise

  • 2 tablespoons (30 g) Dijon mustard

  • 1 ½ tablespoon (30 ml) pure honey

  • 2 teaspoons (10 ml) lemon juice

Method

  • 1. In a mixing bowl, season all-purpose flour with salt and pepper.
  • 2. Place eggs and breadcrumbs in separate bowls.
  • 3. Coat chicken tenders first with seasoned flour, then eggs and lastly, breadcrumbs.
  • 4. Preheat Air Fryer to 380 F (180 C).
  • 5. Place breaded chicken tenders in Air Fryer cooking basket. Spray lightly with oil. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 6. As the chicken tenders are being cooked, prepare the Honey-Mustard Dip.
  • 7. In a mixing bowl, whisk all dip ingredients. Transfer into a small bowl and then cover. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • 8. Place chicken tenders in serving plate and serve with Honey-Mustard dip on the side.
  • 9. Serve and enjoy.
