Air-Fried Crab Cakes Home-Style

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (300 g) cooked crabmeat, flaked

  • 1 cup (250 g) prepared mashed potatoes

  • 1 medium (110 g) onion, chopped

  • 1 (3 g) clove garlic

  • 1 (60 g) whole egg

  • 1/4 cup (25 g) breadcrumbs

  • 2 tablespoons (15 g) finely grated parmesan cheese

  • 2 tablespoons (15 g) all-purpose flour

  • 2 tablespoons (7 g) fresh chives, chopped

  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) kosher salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon (0.5 g) freshly ground black pepper

  • olive oil spray

Method

  • 1. In a food processor, add the crabmeat along with the remaining ingredients. Mix until blended well.
  • 2. Divide mixture to make 8 crab cakes. Set aside.
  • 4. Arrange in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Then, spray with oil. Do not overcrowd, cook in batches if needed.
  • 5. Preheat your Air Fryer to 390 F (180 C).
  • 6. Cook for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown on both sides.
  • 7. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
  • 8. Enjoy.
